Reflecting on Week 12 of 2025

What I accomplished and learned
Another fantastic week.
Week 12 went really well in terms of my creativity. I did everything that I set out to do, and I’m happy with my effort for this week.
Writing
Not only did I manage to write every day, I completed a flash fiction piece that I’m going to post this Saturday (03/23/2025).
I’ve been thinking of the next creative challenge that I want to take on.
To keep myself writing, I would like to do a 10 Weeks of Flash Fiction challenge. Basically, the goal is to publish one flash fiction story every Saturday for 10 weeks. That’s a little over two months worth of holding myself accountable.
To me, this is very doable.
So starting next week, I will start this challenge. Stay tuned for that!
Design
Completing the 100 Days of Graphic Design challenge was both fun and difficult.
But it got me to design and learn the Affinity Photo 2 program. There is still a lot I need to learn about the program, but it got me creating. And that’s ultimately what mattered to me.
Moving forward, I want to post two designs a week.
Considering I was able to post a design a day for the 100 Days challenge, I’m confident that I can achieve this. No problem. I hope to continue to push and expand my skills.
Here are the last of my designs:

Illustration
Another week of sketching every day!
Hell yeah.
Eventually, I want to do the same thing as with my designs. I would like to create two pieces a week and post on a certain day. I may choose to post on Wednesday and Saturday, in line with my design process.
Nothing special.
I just want to have a record of my skills as I learn and grow. My illustration skills are still lacking, but with enough time and attention I can make it pleasing enough to look at.
Goals for next week
- Writing: Start 10 Weeks of Flash Fiction challenge and write at least 1000 words for Tales of Ezan: Ksateca Huac.
- Design: Create two pieces and post on Wednesday and Saturday.
- Illustration: Create two pieces and post on Wednesday and Saturday.
