Designs for Week 07 of 2025 taking on the 100 Days of Graphic Design Challenge.
Day 78
I started Day 78 selecting the Ohleys typeface from The Bold Retro Font Bundle by PixelSurplus.
I wanted to do something simple today. Nothing too complex. I mentioned before that I want to just play with shapes and text. See how far I can take my designs. And if I have a good idea, that is exactly what I’m going to do in the future.
Day 79
Had a lot of fun with Day 79.
What I like about the 100 Days of Graphic Design challenge is that I’m figuring out my style. How I want to use the principles of design to convey a message. Creating something, every day, is pushing me to figure things out.
For Day 79, I started with selecting the Retro Disco typeface from The Bold Retro Font Bundle by PixelSurplus.
Then, I wanted to capture a picture of flowers within a shape. I selected a flower photo by Pixabay that I thought worked quite well with what I wanted to achieve.
I’m happy with what I achieved.
Day 80
I love what I did for Day 80.
I started with using the SA Monterey typeface.
Then, I used a gradient and overlaid over the text. The end effect is beautiful. I love how the design ended up and hope to continue to use this sort of effect.
Day 81
I love these gradients that I bought off from PixelSurplus.
For the past few days, I have been using these gradients to add to the typefaces I also bought from PixelSurplus. I used the Sorropago typeface in this project and added the number of the day I’m on for the 100 Days of Graphic Design challenge.
I’ve been adding the number for a bit now but realized I never pointed it out until now.
Day 82
For Day 82, I selected the Tanamera typeface from The Bold Retro Font Bundle by PixelSurplus.
Then, I selected a gradient from The Massive Texture bundle as I have done for the past few days. Again, I had a lot of fun with this one and want to continue to use these gradients.
Day 83
The Good Days typeface is such a fun typeface to work with. It fit well with the gradient that I used with it.
The end effect is something I love. I can see this design as a poster to show off the typeface itself. Again, had a lot of fun with this design.
Day 84
For Day 84, I used the Tolusen typeface from The Bold Retro Font Bundle.
I used another gradient from The Massive Texture bundle.
Not much to say here other than I love the result. I decided to use a flower-like symbol to hold the number of the day this design is for — Day 84.
